The Survivors Founding Team is made up of resilient individuals who have experienced human trafficking firsthand and have transformed their lived experiences into a force for change. As founders of this NGO, they are committed to dismantling trafficking networks through awareness, advocacy, and collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Their mission also focuses on empowering Nigerian youth with accurate information and access to safe, legal migration pathways, helping to prevent exploitation and promote informed decision-making. Through their leadership, they bring authenticity, courage, and a survivor-centered approach to the fight against human trafficking.

Anthony Ogbonna Joseph is a dedicated leader and survivor advocate committed to combating human trafficking through awareness, advocacy, and survivor-centered initiatives. With experience in organizational coordination and stakeholder engagement, he plays a key role in driving the mission and operations of the NGO. His passion lies in empowering vulnerable youth with safe migration knowledge and amplifying survivor voices to inspire change.

Kelvin OsaJie Uwague is a Media and Hospitality Manager with a strong background in video production, content creation, and brand promotion. He is passionate about leveraging media as a powerful tool for awareness, storytelling, and social impact. With years of experience in media management, video editing, and digital content strategy across the entertainment and hospitality sectors, Kelvin plays a key role in shaping the organization’s public voice. As a member of the survivor founding team, he is dedicated to amplifying survivor voices, raising awareness on human trafficking, and using creative media to educate and empower vulnerable communities.

Onyeji Alex Oluwayomi is an Administrative and Finance Officer with a strong background in organizational management, financial coordination, and operational support. He is passionate about promoting transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the organization. With experience in financial record-keeping, budgeting, and administrative planning, Alex plays a key role in ensuring the smooth running and sustainability of the organization. As a member of the founding team, he is deeply committed to supporting initiatives that prevent human trafficking, amplify awareness, and empower vulnerable communities through structured and impactful programs.

Morgan is a dedicated leader and strategic coordinator from Rivers State, bringing a blend of technical discipline and social advocacy to the role as Project Director. I am committed to building sustainable systems that empower survivors and ensure the long-term impact of our organization’s initiatives. With a foundational background in Science Laboratory Technology from the Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri, I leverage an analytical mindset to oversee the planning and execution of our NGO's core projects. As a husband and a father of two, my leadership is fueled by a deep passion for community stability and the protection of future generations. I focus on operational excellence and partnership building, ensuring that every survivor-led program is executed with precision, integrity, and a focus on long-term rehabilitation. I believe the story isn't written yet, and I am here to ensure we write a powerful one for those we serve.

Ojo Eniola Elizabeth is a survivor of human trafficking, a devoted mother, and a passionate advocate for change. She is committed to supporting survivors through compassionate counseling and empowerment initiatives. Her work is driven by a deep desire to help others rebuild their lives with dignity and hope. Eniola brings both lived experience and empathy to her work in the anti-trafficking space. As a member of the Survivor Founding Team, she plays a vital role in providing emotional support and counseling to survivors, helping them navigate recovery and reintegration. She is deeply passionate about mental health, survivor empowerment, and creating safe spaces where victims can heal and rediscover their strength. Through her advocacy and personal journey, she contributes to shaping programs that are survivor-centered, impactful, and rooted in real-life experiences.

Aliyu Ismail Shaban is a dedicated Certified Pharmacy Technician and Psychosocial Support Officer committed to promoting mental well-being and delivering quality healthcare support. He is passionate about helping individuals improve both their physical and emotional health through compassionate and professional care. With both technical expertise and hands-on experience in pharmacy services and psychosocial support, Aliyu has worked closely with individuals facing a range of health and emotional challenges. He plays a vital role in delivering patient-centered care, supporting recovery processes, and contributing to the development of healthier, more resilient communities.

Chidinma Jessica Nwaeze - Advocacy & Survivor Support

Chidinma Jessica Nwaeze is a compassionate advocate dedicated to supporting survivors of human trafficking. She is driven by a strong desire to see individuals heal, regain their confidence, and rebuild their lives. Her work is rooted in empathy and genuine care for others. Chidinma brings a caring and understanding approach to her role within the organization. As part of the Survivor Founding Team, she offers support through empathy, encouragement, and advocacy. She is passionate about helping others find strength, hope, and a sense of dignity again.

Kabiru Abdullahi - Head of Information Technology

Kabiru Abdullahi is a 27-year-old survivor of human trafficking from Northern Nigeria, with roots in Katsina and currently based in Kaduna. His experience in Southeast Asia significantly shaped his passion for advocacy and technology-driven solutions to combat human trafficking. Before his trafficking experience, Kabiru worked as a Chinese translator, a role that unfortunately led to his exposure to a trafficking network. Today, he uses his experience, resilience, and technical skills to support anti-trafficking efforts and survivor empowerment. As the Head of Information Technology at Voices Unchained, Kabiru leverages digital tools and technology to support awareness campaigns, improve communication systems, and create platforms that empower survivors and educate the public. He is deeply passionate about using technology to fight human trafficking, educate vulnerable communities, and help protect others from falling victim to similar situations.
